Labor for Your Neighbor

“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Matthew 22:39

The neighborhood that I grew up in was a village-type environment of love and sometimes a little indifference but never hate. In those days it was said that everybody was raising everybody’s children. There was a deep concern for each other and each other’s family throughout the neighborhood.
