YOU HAVE AN ATTITUDE – Power Thoughts

I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.” Phil 4:13

Apostle Paul’s words reflect both attitude and reality; “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me”, Phil 4:13 will never lose its power or relevancy. However, denied bias, long standing social problems within our society have left more than a few individuals feeling somewhat powerless rather than strengthened; displays of discontent have erupted. Unsurprisingly, when we hear of current events the subject of war is often affixed; attacks, battles, casualties and hostilities are all characteristics of warfare. Many people tag the wars as racial, religious, political, social and/or economical; others reject the idea of war. Still, the aggressions, belligerence and murderous warlike occurrences are not hypothetical, they have been real. Mathew 24:6 warns “you shall here of wars and rumors of wars”, most people fear war; it brings about devastation.

Christians must never become blinded by the world’s adaptation of events. Paul talked about, being strengthened with power through the Holy Spirit in our inner being. Attitude, power thoughts will make a difference! Children of the Most High God must stay focused on the spiritual war at hand (not religion against religion); a spiritual fight that requires weapons of warfare that arenot carnal.

How does one develop the attitude …I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me”? God’s word Jeremiah 33:3 says Call unto me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you know not. God’s word is powerful and will accomplish what it is set out to do! This calls for prayer and faith. Mathew Henry Commentator points out that God has revealed truth to direct us, and peace to make us at ease. Do not be afraid, or discouraged. Get courageous by committing your heart, thoughts, plans, work to the Lord who is able to perfect all things that concern you.  The power thought attitude requires deciding to take action based on believing, looking and obeying God who gives power for victory over the enemy, to gain wealth, give wisdom, peace, protection and make all things possible.

Every morning pray then audibly speak to your inner man … I am strengthened with power through the Holy Spirit! Then go through your day with an Attitude of Power Thoughts rooted in Christ Jesus.

Yours in Christ,
